The service is available to anyone living in Lambeth, Lewisham or Southwark, or attending a Specialist Sickle Cell Service in any of these 3 boroughs, or a hospital that is part of the South Thames Sickle Cell & Thalassaemia Network.

ABOUT THE SERVICE
• The Sickle Cell South London Link service is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and delivered by the Sickle Cell Society
• The service provides a range of resources to enable individuals to manage their condition confidently & effectively enabling individuals to maintain a healthy & active lifestyle
• The service provides a range of activities and family days out for children, teenagers and adults living with SCD & their families
• The service works with existing support groups and is establishing new peer support groups across Lambeth, Lewisham & Southwark
• The service provides support and self-advocacy skills to improve access to services such as Health, Education and Employment
• The service provides topical information & advice workshops held throughout the year
• Is recruiting volunteers living with SCD to assist with project activities & peer support groups

WHO IS THE SERVICE AIMED AT?
The service is aimed at individuals living with SCD including:
• CHILDREN
• TEENAGERS
• ADULTS
