In collaboration with North West London Haemoglobinopathy Clinical Network

As requested by patients at the meeting held at Central Middlesex Hospital in September we are planning a follow up meeting to form a North West London Patients Consortium that will provide a stronger collective voice for people with Sickle Cell Disease, their families and friends

We invite members from any of the current local support groups, and those who do not yet belong to a group, to attend the meeting

Suggested Agenda:-

• Why develop a local consortium for North West London region
• What should the consortium do (including aims and activities)
• How should it operate
• Who should manage the consortium
• How often should it meet face-to-face or via internet
• Do we need to elect those who will manage the consortium
• How we will encourage & support current support groups
